Characteristics of Oleum Viride oil

The outstanding quality of the Oleum Viride organic extra virgin olive oil is due to unique climate conditions, as the olives are grown in the area with the highest rainfall in Spain. These conditions determine the organoleptic characteristics of the different varieties of our oils: Lechín and Manzanilla de Zahara, mountain oils which are stronger and more intense than the ones from olives grown at lower altitudes. They are greenish-yellow in colour, fresh, fruity with hints of almonds, apples and tomatoes, fluid and harmonious texture with soft bitterness and pungency.
